Traffic Management planning and implementation forms an integral part of all MacRoads works. Key members of our team have successfully completed the LASNTG Traffic Management & Design Course for Level 1 and 2 Category roads, to design compliant traffic management plans.

We follow the 5 stage O.R.D.E.R. process to design temporary traffic management (TTM) plans:

  1. Obtain Information

  2. Risk Assess various TTM options

  3. Design a site specific TTM plan

  4. Explain

  5. Review

Adhering to these parameters allows MacRoads to design and implement site-specific traffic management plans which are compliant with the following:

  • Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual;

  • Temporary Traffic Management Design Guidance;

  • Temporary Traffic Management Operations Guidance; and

  • TII Temporary Traffic Management Dashboard Manual for Road Markings.

MacRoads has been accredited with Safe-T-Cert Safety Management Scheme since 2012. In the most recent audit in 2019 MacRoads achieved a grade A certificate (attached Safe-T-Cert), which demonstrates the company’s commitment to health and safety risk management and commitment to the wellbeing of our workforce and road users.
